Alex or anyone who has knowledge of needs assessments
I am right in thinking that when you have a needs assessment from LA via OT. That they should be taking the whole situation into consideration ie siblings, who not willingly get put aside when you have such complex needs with another or is this just with adult needs assessments? I read so many opportunities they all supposed to be able to access but been waiting over a year and of course siblings getting older and dont want that separation between them getting any greater

Thanks for your post @freckles If you give our freephone helpline a call on 0808 808 3555
they will be able to give you full information about Social Care and how assessments
should include all family members, including Siblings.

We also produce a parent guide on Siblings which you may find helpful as you are right, often Parents tell us they worry about not meeting the needs of their non-disabled children because they need to spend so much time concentrating on their disabled child so our guide gives lot of helpful information about how to support sibling children. Check it out if you haven't already seen it.

Does anyone else have any experiences or suggestions to help @freckles ?
    Take care
